Who is 671 Woodworks?

Hi! I am Tristan “Drostan” Green. I am a woodworker in the Kansas City area. I enjoy making things that help people enjoy their homes inside and out. (Honestly, a lot of things I make are things that I have made for myself first.) I have enjoyed making various woodworking projects in my off time from the regular 9-5. That passion has fueled my desire to bring these creations to other people.

Why Choose 671 Woodworks?

671 Woodworks is committed to providing quality, handcrafted items to the local community. Buy local, support local is more than a slogan. I am actively working to support local businesses.

Do You Do Custom Work?

Yes! I am willing to tackle any custom idea you may have. Who doesn’t like to brag a bit about their one-of-a-kind piece? From a custom shelf to a unique bookcase, 671 Woodworks is your partner in design.

Where did 671 Come From?

I am a veteran of the US Marine Corps Reserve. In the Marines your job is given a specific code called an MOS (Military Occupational Specialty). My MOS was 0671 Data Systems Administrator. AKA I was a computer nerd in cammies. I preferred the title “Scout Typer”. That job has carried me in my civilian career as a System Engineer. I wanted to keep some of my military heritage and continue to show my appreciation for where I came in this endeavor.
